The Diocese of Georgia has an active and vibrant youth program through high school. As we graduated from high school, we found that there really weren't any programs specifically for our age group. We decided to start one. We recruited Beth Westgate, a postulant for the diaconate, to organize us (and cook for us!). Our first step was to start a Facebook group (Savannah Area Episcopal Young Adults) and plan a few activities. We attended a Savannah Sand Gnats game and participated in Eat In to Help Out, a recent event to work toward the Millenium Development Goals. The next logical step was to create this website and invite you to join us. We welcome townies, students, those who moved to Savannah for work, Episcopalians and non-Episcopalians alike!

Who We Are

We are the "twenty-somethings" of the diocese. We have fun. We have questions. We love to be in community. We love Episcopal worship. Some of us are students. Some of us work. Some do both. We need to be challenged. We need reflective time. We want to make a difference in our world. We come from different backgrounds, cultures and areas of the country. We are one at Christ's table.
